On behalf of a Leading Chemical Industry client we are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their Team based in Hull on a "Permanent" basis.


As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible the maintenance of a variety of Machinery and Equipment on site ensuring that operators can work safely and that the machinery can operate efficiently.


The successful Maintenance Engineer will:

  • Ensure work area is always safety compliant
  • Be "Time Served" with appropriate Engineering qualifications
  • Carry out all work following the appropriate Health and Safety procedures
  • Be responsible for carrying out Planned and Reactive Maintenance in a timely and efficient manner to ensure loss of production is kept to a minimum
  • Have a "Structural Bias" with strong Welding & Burning skills
  • Be Mechanically minded and have worked in a manufacturing environment
  • Be able to work from Engineering Drawings
  • Ideally have experience within Chemical Industry
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be an excellent communicator and have practical, hands on way of working. You will be a good team player and be able to follow verbal instructions.
