Tasks:


  • You will be presenting Risk Management towards a team of Portfolio managers and further internal stakeholders, where you will promote an effective dialogue based on regular engagements and adhoc requests.
  • Preparing recurrent and adhoc risk reports or risk analyses (e.g. for internal purposes, risk committees, senior management and regulators), maintaining and further developing of existing reporting tools and formats will be part of your role.
  • Supporting individual requests and work in projects related to risk management topics (e.g. for implementing new regulatory requirements in the risk controlling area) as well as the overall monitoring of related Risk Management mailboxes.
  • Performing adhoc quantitative analysis and regular stresstesting on portfolios to assess downside risk based on the stresstesting framework in place with the support of the Risk Technology & Solutions.
  • Supporting the Risk Function on a broader basis of recurring Risk Management topics.

Knowledge /Skills / Exeperience

  • You show an indepth understanding of generally accepted risk measurement methodologies (e.g. ValueatRisk) and are familiar with relevant European and German asset management regulations (such as KAGB, UCITS and AIFMD). Knowledge in credit risk measurement,counterpart risk measures or alternative investments is a plus.
  • You will bring advanced experience in risk controlling or comparable area where you demonstrated your handson approach to tackle these topics with specific experience on Multi Asset Risks.
  • Practical experience in financial engineering (pricing / VaR modelling of financial instruments) covering equity and fixed income assets, including related derivatives.
  • You are able to lead discussions with the Multi Asset Investment Teams and to constructively challenge their views while at the same time building a relationship of mutual trust.
  • An expertise in Fund of Funds and Risk Premia exposure will be valuable.
- you have good skills in MSCI Riskmetrics, MS Office tools as well as experience with handling of databases
