    Description

    You will:
    Plan, develop and execute a wide range of events both in the UK and international markets. These will include flagship events, roadshows, corporate hospitality, fund manager visits, conferences and roundtable events.

    Work with internal stakeholders to plan the event schedule for the year, and be aware of any external conferences that may add value to the business.

    Identify suitable venues, look at cost plans to ensure the best value is achieved and visit venues prior to use.

    Run the events budget and negotiate rates and contracts with external providers.
    Identify relevant speakers for events and schedule them accordingly ensuring they have the information they require. Develop agendas and content relevant to the audience.
    Work closely with colleagues within the marketing team to ensure that materials are produced in advance.
    Undertake analysis to ascertain effectiveness of events and return on investment.
    Need to be flexible and able to travel as and when required.

    It is essential that you can demonstrate:
    Excellent communication skills and the gravitas to represent the brand in the correct manner.
    Previous events management experience within the financial services industry, ideally investment management.
    Examples of successful events that you have planned and executed previously.
    Strong budgetary management skills.
