Account Executive -

Full time, permanent role - hybrid working pattern
**Monday - Friday, Hours 9am - 5:15pm
Salary £24,000 -£27, 840 per annum plus excellent benefits package**
Based in Surbiton, Surrey


Are you a driven Account Executive who has experience working in the FMCG industry? Our client ,a global brand with UK HQ in the Surbiton area is seeking someone with experience in sales &/or marketing, customer services/support to join the Sales team inorder to drive the business and manage their existing and new clients overseas and in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop account business plans to deliver account strategy.
  • Ensure agreed account targets are met.
  • Develop promotions/programmes providing agreed profitability/ROI across the product range.
  • Maximise opportunities by analysing accounts' business and trends.
  • Order management reporting, stock management and allocation, terms and pricing.
  • Develop short, mid and longterm business plans, account targets and strategies.
  • Manage approved and allocated retailer investment budgets.
  • Complete weekly, monthly, and adhoc reports.
  • Ensure sales databases are updated.
  • Order management in SAP and DealerNet (retailer order portal) & Key Account Support
  • Ensure invoices are correctly processed
  • Provide support to internal partners and colleagues as required

Person Specification

  • 12 years of work experience, preferably within sales, customer service/support
  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills in English
  • Intermediate/advanced Excel
  • Commercial awareness and confidence communicating with retailers
  • Negotiation skills
  • Commercial profitability and ROI awareness
  • Team player with ability to work collaboratively across the business
  • A clear understanding of the wider business priorities in order to drive results
  • Adaptable and willing to embrace change in order to respond to the changing requirements of the business
  • Able to work well under pressure and enjoy problem solving
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Provide support to internal partners and colleagues as required
