Location:
Leek, Staffordshire**

The Client**:Our client is in the Top 100 Chartered Accountancy Practices in the UK having multiple offices.
The company also have a dedicated team that specialise in advice andservices for the legal sector where they support many practices and are the accountants of choice for this sector.
The Role:
Purpose of the role:
The main purpose of the role is to provide professional financial advice and exceptional service to the client's customers. You will also have significant involvement in assigning and reviewing draft accounts prepared by the trainee accountants within theteam.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Servicing a portfolio of clients
- Tracking job progress and billing targets
- Monitoring deadlines
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparation of selfassessment tax returns
- Building a positive working relationship with clients and the practice
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
- Use of computer software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on time
- Dealing with any client queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Assisting colleagues and trainees within the team with development and technical advice
- Undertake such other duties that are required commensurate with the role
Required Competencies:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 3 years post qualified experience in a practice environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and able to successfully communicate with people at all levels, both financial and nonfinancial
- Excellent reporting skills
- Confidently able to offer recommendations and advice to the clients.
- Highly competent with outstanding commercial acumen and a solid grasp of business aims and objectives
- Demonstrable experience and a proven track record in a similar role
- Previous experience of working with clients in the agricultural sector preferred
- A full UK driving licence is essential
