Carbon60 are looking for a Bush Honers to join an esteemed aviation company based in Hayes. They are looking for someone to join their diverse and vastly growing team on a permanent basis.


This particular aviation company are best known for their air crafts which most of you would have seen however they have different sectors which specialise in certain areas.

I am looking for a Bush Honers to work for their Landing Gear Specialist who are based in Hayes.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Check component and bush log for accuracy.
  • Install bushes / bearings. Check bushes dimensionally. Using workshop manuals and drawings.
  • Using imperial calibrated measuring equipment.
  • Swage bushings with the suitable method (pressure, roller, stake, material displacing).
  • Wire lock bolts / bushes.
  • Use of cryogenics / ovens.
  • Assist with on wing support when trained.

Requirements:

  • Engineering apprenticeship
  • Ability to measure using imperial measuring equipment
  • Familiar with the use of computers, including word processing, spreadsheets, and data based programmes
  • Trained in machine shop technology and working practices.


The Bush Honers role will include being part of a fast growing, dynamic and diverse aviation company who are offering a competetive salary and employee benefits.

This position involves a week 1 / week 2 shift rotation.

  • Week 1: 06:00am 14:00pm
  • Week 2: 14:00pm 22:00pm
