Description

Software Test Engineer
We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Test Engineer to join our team.

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our deliveries to our customers around the world.

Our systems support governments and customers indefending against cyber threats, so they must be able to rely on the quality of our products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across the system lifecycle, from test definition to customer acceptance, and can directly influence the outcome of our projects.

You will interface with development teams, project teams, and delivery functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Analyzing and designing test requirements and scripts
Defining and creating test cases from nonfunctional specifications
Designing and executing performance, security, and usability tests with clients
Analyzing requirements for test automation and designing technical solutions
Reviewing and assuring the scope and execution of Unit Tests and Integration Tests
Executing Sessionbased (Exploratory) Testing

Requirements:

Experience creating Test Strategies and Plans
Experience with Test Management software (Zephyr, HP ALM preferred)
Experience with system testing, preferably with some exposure to lowlevel (non GUI) testing
Experience with Defect Tracking and Knowledge Management software (Atlassian JIRA and Confluence preferred)
ISTQB Foundation Qualification

Desirable qualifications and experience:

ISTQB Advanced Qualification
Experience with WebAPI testing and tools
Knowledge of computer networking and protocols (TCP, IP, UDP, DHCP, NTP, SSL, HTTP, IMAP, etc.)
Knowledge of Big Data environment and ecosystem
Experience working in a Linux environment
Knowledge of network protocol analyzer tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.)
Shell scripting and Python experience for test automation
