Here's what you will do


Our Data Strategists identify the data capabilities that are applicable to our clients to enable them to effectively deliver real intrinsic value.

Through combining proven data frameworks (for example DAMA-DMBOK) with our knowledge of the latest technologies,architectures and industry news, we help solve complex business challenges.

Typically, our data strategy work contains significant elements of defining, designing and developing of data architectures, understanding and implementing data governance & data managementpractices & procedures, as well as supporting in the selection of data platforms & technologies.

What we look for in our Data Strategists?

  • Identify the current & target state data capabilities and maturity in order to craft applicable and actionable data strategies & roadmaps
  • Lead and deliver data maturity assessments using frameworks such as DCAM
  • Have an appreciation & understanding of data architecture & data modelling
  • Have an appreciation & understanding to guide our clients around utilising cloud data technologies
  • Have knowledge of the latest data trends, news and emerging concepts
  • Guide csuite clients in their data journey

Who you are?
As a data strategist, you will have the following knowledge & experience:

  • Prior experience of delivering complex engagements either as a technical leader or a senior technical member of a team
  • Experience of delivering complex datacentric solutions at scale, preferably within Financial Services, Public Sector, Energy, or Telecommunications industries
  • Experience of delivering complex datacentric solutions at scale
  • Run workshops and interviews with client organisations to capture data related business cases
  • Cloud based infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google) and related architecture patterns?
  • Experience of full delivery life cycle coupled with the ability to deliver significant impact, quickly?
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships and be able to influence colleagues, senior client stakeholders, partners, suppliers
  • Demonstrable knowledge of delivering business value to clients through the use of data technologies
  • Ability to support on data related sales pitches to perspective clients both new and existing?
  • Able to work collaboratively?
  • Consulting knowledge and experiences?
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities?
  • Flexibility to travel to, and work in, other locations
  • Strong communication, presentation and business writing skills along with the ability to manage and build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Effort, deliverables and outputs are consistently realised within a committed time frame

Desirable Skills:


  • Fluency in an additional European language
  • Hold qualifications in CDMP (DAMA-DMBOK) and DCAM

Hours
This is a permanent role within our Technology function. We consider flexible ways of working, that allow the best outcomes for our people and clients. Working closely with our clients is key to successful outcomes, and so travel both UK and internationalis a requirement.
