WHAT TO EXPECT
This fantastic Vehicle Planner role is a vital one to the Supply Chain department.

You can expect to be responsible for the delivery of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) plans - these are essential to help achieve JLR's business plans whilst supporting internal and external stakeholders.

The Vehicle Planner will be an integral part of the Supply Chain Planning Squads who are responsible for successful planning and execution of our rolling weekly, monthly and quarterly plans.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Responsibilities in this role include working with the Commercial function and the regions to establish correct production requirements for all our global markets as well as facilitating the successful creation of full year allocation plans by accurately allocating production volumes at a market and powertrain level.

You will be required to help the monthly S&OP process by working with other team members to help monitor and manage market demand requests - adjusting plans where necessary - and planning and managing sales order bank, forecast, capacities and trim level introduction to help drive vehicle launch and model year run in and run out activities.

JLR require someone who has experience of generating weekly supplier schedules based on the latest order bank data and assist in issuing the operating strategy and is comfortable in their ability to drive forecast generation through analysis of order bank option take rates and populate Pipeline Ordering System with accurate and up-to-date information.

Further duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Work through timely order submissions and order priorities with the Plant Vehicle Scheduling team
Ensure timely order availability from markets and manage the order bank to customer lead time targets
Work collaboratively with Capacity planning team to ensure that the supply base has sufficient capacity to support demand changes, customer sales orders and future model programmes
Lead, arrange and implement ongoing order to delivery improvement initiatives/projects and deliver changes in line with SLAs

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Highly numerate and analytical with a great attention to details
Clear examples of problemsolving skills
Must be systems literate including knowledge of MS Office (essential), Big Query (desirable), Tableau (desirable)
The ability to analyse data and consolidate information to present in senior management reviews
Proven levels of multitasking with agility to complete multiple operational tasks on short and tight deadlines
Working level experience and/or knowledge of Agile Methodology
Has a Creators Code first mindset, Customer Love, Unity, Integrity, Growth and Impact
