Are you excited by the idea of shaping the future of business operations and taking responsibility for fine-tuning and orchestrating technology-enabled transformation projects at a global company? Deerfoot is recruiting a full-time Customer Development Consultantfor a leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation.

This position offers a salary of £65,000-80,000 (depending on experience as multiple levels and roles available) for your expertise.

This role can be based at any of our clients UKoffices such as London, Bristol, Manchester, Woking, Telford and more.

There will also be some travel involved to client sites.

During your first few weeks in this Customer Development Consultant role, you can expect to begin work on:

  • Creating and communicating a transformation roadmap and vision around how organisations execute and manage go-to-market activities
  • Crafting a transformation plan and operating model for various clients that integrates customer development and promo execution plans with other supply chain, finance, data and analytics activities
  • Guiding and supporting projects spanning several practices/disciplines/geographies, managing scope, risks, results, delays and profitability
  • Analysing existing client data, volumes, technology, operating models, and process outcomes, and designing leading Integrated Operations solutions and pursuit content for prospective and existing clients


The Customer Development Consultant must have executive presence, domain knowledge, and the ability to design a complex business case, translate the business case and solution to run, and support run operations as needed to deliver on committed value unlocksand said business case.


We are also looking for:

  • Supply chain experience
  • Excellent understanding of industry and domain experience relating to your pillar, including industry trends, best practices, process, technology, and company approach and assets
  • Versatile and able to support all facets of strategic consulting from design to deployment for the Integrated operations practice
  • Industry domain experience in supply chain and/or CPG or retail channels
