Are you a caring person who wants to make a difference in a young person life?

An amazing opportunity has arisen for the chance to support a lively 13-year-old in the Redcar area. This is a permanent position.


Duties will include:

To ensure the young person's safety when supporting to access activities, supporting to access the community, go to the beach, soft play, and swimming.

There is a need for some support with personal care, hand hygiene and assist with toilet.


Hours: 5 hours per week during term time. 8 hours per week in school holidays.


Wage:
£10.42 per hour


Applicants must be:
Patient, reliable, honest and trustworthy.

Knowledge / training of how to de-escalate is an advantage, as well as knowledge of Autism and positive support behaviour strategies, however information can be provided at interview.

There is also an opportunity for the employee to access training.

Successful applicants will undergo references and enhanced DBS criminal records check.
