Description:

To support an 8-year-old child in the community to go out and on walks, access the park, beach and soft play.

The child has epilepsy and some mobility issues. They use a wheelchair most of the time. They can communicate with body language.


Hours:

Saturday or Sunday for 4 hours at a time as a 2-1 support, 8 hours total between 10-4pm flexible times and day.


Duties will include:

Maintain safety whilst out in the community, supervision to access the community, support with feeding, medication and personal care.

Support family with on-going therapies.


Applicants must be:
Caring, trustworthy, reliable, patient. Training and information will be given.


Desirable:
Knowledge of epilepsy would be beneficial.

Successful applicants will undergo references and enhanced DBS criminal records check.
