Who are we seeking?

Our award-winning workforce is now looking to welcome an experienced Lifting & Yard Appointed Person joining the Sunseeker family at our Willis Way site in Poole.

As a Lifting & Yard Appointed Person, you will play a crucial role in the manufacture of a world-renowned, market-leading product range.


We are looking for someone with CPCS (A61) Training - Appointed Persons Lifting Operations or similar, proven experience in this area, excellent communication skills and a tenacious mindset ready to deal with and overcome barriers to change.

Our close-knit team will require the addition of an organised team player with a passion for achievement.


A Day in the Life
As a Lifting & Yard Appointed Person at Sunseeker you will be responsible for:

  • ensuring all lifting is handled in accordance with the company safety management system
- assisting with all training for Lifting
- overseeing Audit and Data up keep
- conducting AP monthly meetings
- putting forwards and facilitating new ideas and continual improvement
- organising all HI-AB operations
- operating the HI-AB
- training and guiding APs including all aspects of lifting
- controlling all LOLER inspection 6 month/12 monthly
- working directly with Lifting and Yard Manager and HI-AB operator
- working with Lifting and Yard Manager on all new projects involving lifting
- overseeing all new crane implementation / upgrades
- coordinating all repair and service works to all cranes and lifting equipment
