Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Manage and maintain a caseload of learners
  • Engage and build a strong relationship with the learner, line managers and workplace mentors
  • Take responsibility to monitor and support your learners through their apprenticeships from enrolment and to completion
  • Deliver teaching and learning in group online workshops, 121 sessions and through remote learning sessions utilising modern systems and creativity
  • Stay up to date with industry practices and work closely with the awarding organisations (AOs) and End Point Assessment Organisations (EPAOs) to ensure the organisation and learners are kept up to date
  • Support the development of curriculum, standards, and apprenticeship developments
  • Embed English, maths and ICT teaching and learning within the programmes you deliver, promoting and encouraging use of eLearning
  • Working collaboratively with peers to share best practice, lead on standardisation and supporting the Quality Assurance team
  • Promote CPD across the Trainer Coach's both sector experience and academic upskilling
  • Engage in Team Around the Learner (TAL) and participate in team meetings
  • Be flexible as required by the needs of the business.
  • Maintain successful timely completions in line with company's KPI measures
  • Ensure learners participate, and take responsibility for and record their offthejob training within their learning journal
  • Support, mentor, and coach the Trainer Coaches within their role and upskill where needed within your sector of responsibility

Person Specification


The Trainer Coach will motivate, inspire, and encourage fellow Trainer Coaches through the sharing of good practice, information, advice, and guidance.

We want to see a team of Trainer Coaches who share IAG and take responsibility for the curriculum, learners, and clients in their sector/s.


You will have a cohort of learners and through quality practice and relationships, ensure learners are empowered to craft their own learning journey, remain motivated, and meet their objectives.

We are looking for someone to be brave, transparent and build trust. Leading on curriculum is a big part in this role.

Being creative is a way of life and to be passionate so that you inspire those around you is central to our ethos.

We don't expect you to have all the answers, but we do expect you to discover new ways of delivering curriculum via research, observation and via the team.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, maintaining our strong culture and our relationships with our clients, learners, and regulators.


Essential Requirements:


  • The applicant should hold the assessor qualifications (CAVA or equivalent)
  • The applicant must have AAT Level 4 teaching experience.
  • Hold a minimum of AAT level
  • Hold GSCEs A*C grace or equivalent (e.g. Level 2 English and Maths Functional Skills)
  • Demonstrate experience of leading and supervising a team
  • Demonstrate extensive experience of delivering AAT programmes, both commercial and apprenticeships
  • Demonstration of your ability to develop curriculum and resources is essential
  • Demonstrate leading on standardisation and evidence of contributing to the CPD of staff
  • Experience of End Point Assessment practice for level 24 apprenticeships
  • Must hold a full clean driving license and willing to travel nationally when required
  • Experience in managing or delivering business administration qualifications

Desirable:


  • Hold a Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance qualification (or equivalent)
  • Level 4 + Teaching Qualification, Education and Training (or equivalent)
  • Level 5 Management Qualification
  • Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring Qualification
  • Experience of Apprenticeship End Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Membership to occupationally relevant organisations
