Grafton Banks Finance Ltd is delighted to be partnering a multi-national business in Gillingham with the recruitment of a newly created Senior Financial Accountant role.

This position will suit an ambitious ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant, ideally practicetrained, with 2-3 years subsequent industry experience.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing month end accounts for all costs associated with the project
Provide analysis of spend and revenue
Ownership of the local audit process in line with both US GAAP & FRS10
Monitor FX position, including preparation of detailed cashflow, to help manage the hedging process to mitigate negative FX impacts
Work with tax teams on intercompany charging mechanisms and transfer pricing
Establishing intercompany reconciliation processes and maintenance
Business partnering with the leadership team of the Digital Centre of Excellence
Liaising with local AP, Treasury and Payroll teams

To be suitable you will be similar to the following:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA (practice trained preferred, but not essential).
Excellent technical skills.
Ability to build relationships in and outside of the finance team.
Selfstarter and enjoys a role that regularly throws up new challenges.
Strong IT/Excel skills.
Project Accounting experience desirable (not essential).
