Role purpose:


As a Stock Controller, you will contribute to a safe, compliant, and reliable team by ensuring that stock held within LCD is organised and logged correctly.

You will ensure all stock records are accurate and stock losses, and errors are minimised.

You will help prepare deliveries and collections of stock and be responsible for 100% accuracy of transferring stock to their respective areas.

You will work closely with the teams across B5 to ensure stock is tracked throughout its lifecycle.

You will play an active part in the Stocktaking process and will work closely with others across the business to investigate any discrepancies.


As a Leader you will provide guidance and instruction to your team and take an active part in your team's development.


You require a proactive approach to Health and Safety and will contribute to our 'Zero Tolerance' initiative by delivering Toolbox Talks and taking responsibility for their Teams Health and Safety.


Key accountabilities:


  • Assist in running an efficient operation which can fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets.
  • Tracking internal stock transfers, as well as resolving delays between sites and departments
  • Ensure inventories in area of responsibility are accurate and take necessary action to ensure variances are recorded and investigated.
  • Analysing Stock data to ensure the availability of stock is correct and in line with systems.
  • Oversee stock storage processes, including physical storage and labelling of stock.
  • Coordinating stock control operations across LCD Warehouse & Production
  • Organising and participate in stock takes at regular set intervals.
  • Perform regular inventory audits and checks to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Ensure that any computerised systems are accurate and up to date.
  • Collaboration across departments to ensure stock levels are maintained and adjusted where needed.
  • Identify any systems/process improvements and make recommendations for change.

Experience Desired:


  • Previous experience of working in an operational environment would be preferential.
  • Confident, selfmotivated, resilient, able to proactively identify issues and drive delivery of solutions.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver finished hides and boxes.
  • Disciplined approach to working and maintaining highquality standards.
  • Desire to learn and ability to develop within the role.
  • Flexible in terms of changing work procedures, varying tasks, and requirements to suit the needs of the business.
  • Knowledge of databases or MRP/ERP systems for controlling materials
