Key Responsibilities:


The post will be in our Property Services department, which is responsible for a wide variety of service provision including repairs, maintenance, servicing and contracts.


The post holder will be expected to Assist with the delivery of reactive repairs, voids and a planned maintenance service to tenants, sharing owners and owners of the Association and its subsidiaries.

The post holder Manage a team of staff delivering front line customer and technical services and work seamlessly with Senior Property Services Officer (Compliance) to deliver the Property Services to a high standard.


This will include:

  • Provide effective line management to a team of Property Services Officers, Trades operatives and Customer Services Officers, to deliver a high quality and efficient property management service within defined targets and within budgets.
  • Oversee the management of void properties ensuring internal targets and health and safety requirements are met.
  • Work collaboratively with the Property Services Manager and the Director of Property Assets to identify appropriate resources to deliver day to day repairs service and planned maintenance contracts
  • Provide support and supervision to staff, conducting inductions and appraisals to identify training and development needs within the function
  • Engage in periodical reporting, and monitor health and safety, quality, compliance, KPI achievement, and customer satisfaction

About you:


You will have HND or equivalent in a technical or property related discipline, or equivalent transferrable skills and experience, with extensive relevant experience within and broad range of knowledge of a building, construction or maintenance environment.

You will have knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015, and have awareness of health and safety issues affecting property maintenane.


You are experience of working in a customer focused environment, and have a great customer focus, excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, and you are able to build relationships both internally and externally with various stakeholders.

You possess excellent IT skills, including a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the experience of working with databases, and hold a current valid Driving Licence.

Starting £38,923 per year

Annual leave: pro-rata 28 days annual leave, plus 9 fixed public holidays - total 37 holidays per year.
