Description
As a Learning Mentor, you will have a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of secondary students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
Working in a nurturing and inclusive environment, you will be instrumental in helping students overcome barriers to learning, building their self-esteem, and fostering a positive learning experience.
Foster positive relationships among students, encouraging social interactions and emotional regulation while promoting a sense of belonging within the school community.
Experience:
Previous experience working with secondary students in an educational or youth-focused setting is preferred
Hours:
The position is typically full-time during regular school hours. Some additional hours for planning, meetings, or extracurricular activities may be required for Longer term roles.
