Meraki Talent Ltd are delighted to be engaged on the role of Payroll Specialist (permanent) based in Edinburgh.

The role is offering a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 per annum with an additional benefits package including flexible/home working.

The Company
***This business has created a foothold within the domestic market, having went from strength to strength via organic growth. With plans to further expand domestically and internationally a position has been created within the payroll function to support the business.

The Role
The role of Payroll Analyst will report into the Payroll Manager. You will be working as part of a small team, processing the end-to-end payroll for circa 1700 employees. Moreover, you will have the chance to be part of ad hoc projects such as integrations and process improvement.

The successful individual will ideally have a minimum of 1 year payroll experience. Moreover, you must demonstrate an understanding of payroll legislation and statutory payroll requirements. This would suit an ambitious individual who is looking for a challenge in a high growth business.

You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:

Reporting to and deputising for the Payroll Manager
Assisting with weekly and monthly payrolls
Assisting with payroll legislation
RTI, auto enrolment, PAYE, SSP, holiday pay, pensions etc.
Maintaining the company database including processing starters and leavers
Dealing with internal queries and questions from employees on payroll related matters
Ability to liaise with external partners
HMRC, DWP etc.
Periodic and adhoc reporting
Adhoc duties
