Are you a HR Advisor looking for a new challenge? Look no furtherWe are looking for an outgoing HR Advisor/Officer to one of our amazing manufacturing clients in the York area.
The salary offered is up to £35,000 dependant on experience.
The role offers excellent benefits such as 25 days holidays (plus bank holidays), medical cover scheme, cycle to work and electric car purchase scheme.
- The role is easily commutable from Malton, York, Harrogate, Leeds and surrounding areas._
Key accountabilities:
- Absence Management
- Support wellbeing and disciplinary processes
- Weekly and monthly sickness administration tracking and reporting
- Escalate triggers to managers
- Employee Files
- Carry out periodic audits to ensure data is up to date
- Maintain electronic and physical personnel files
- System data entry
- Employee Relations
- Disciplinaries and grievances
- Daily employee queries
- Provide advice to managers
- Learning and Development
- Training budget allocation
- Career development
- Training courses
- Service Delivery and Info
- HR budget
- Projects and planning
- Compliance and audits
- Support monthly headcount
- Ad hoc (NLW, gender pay)
- Recruitment
What are we looking for:
- Proficiency in organisation and administration, with good spreadsheet, numeracy, and processing skills
- Initiative to help streamline and implement new processes, in addition to improving efficiency across the business
- A keen desire to develop and progress
- A positive personality, with a willingness to listen, learn, and work well with others
- Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills, particularly with internal stakeholders
- Good degree of knowledge in the field of Employee Relations
