Our client are one of the UK's leading Telecoms subcontractors that specialised in the logistics and installation of large Telecoms projects.

Due to continued business growth, they are now looking for a new QUENSH Manager.


Overview
Provides competent health and safety advice, guidance and support to the senior management team and rest of the business.

Responsible for ensuring our client are fully compliant with relevant legislation and industry best practices.


Key Tasks:

¦ Be lead on driving ongoing continual improvement in health and safety culture, compliance, and performance via the Don't Walk By initiative.

¦ Responsible for undertaking accidents, incidents and near miss/dangerous occurrences accident investigations, producing investigation report and communicating with relevant stakeholders as required (i.e., HSE, EA, Clients etc.).

¦ Responsible for ensuring our client obtain and retain industry required certifications/accreditations (attend and lead on external certification/accreditation audits)

¦ Responsible for the development and implementation of an integrated management system that is fully compliant with ISO9001:2015 (quality), ISO14001:2015 (Environment) and ISO45001:2018 (Health & Safety)

¦ Responsible to produce internal IMS annual audit schedule and internal management system audits are undertaken in accordance with approved annual audit schedule.

¦ Responsible for ensuring non-conformances raised from both internal and external audits and/or customer complaints are recorded on the company NCR/Customer complaints action tracker and support management action and close out NCRs/Customer complaints ina reasonable time.

¦ Responsible for ensuring each business unit have suitable and sufficient documented risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for the tasks undertaken and equipment used.

¦ Responsible for ensuring each business unit have identified hazardous substances staff handle, use and/or could be exposed to and COSHH assessments are completed, and current material safety data sheets are available.

¦ Review and update the company aspects and impacts register.

¦ Review and update the company health, safety, and environmental legal register (ensure LIG and associated company remain legally compliant).

¦ Responsible for ensuring fire management in Commhoist Group occupied premises are compliant with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

¦ Responsible for ensuring each business unit provides suitable and sufficient Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for tasks undertaken and equipment used.

¦ Responsible for ensuring the company training and competency database is kept up to date and refresher training is arranged prior to expiry.

¦ Responsible for ensuring all statutory examinations and inspections required by our client are identified, planned, undertaken and examination/inspection reports and/or inspection records are available.

¦ Build good working relationships with client health and safety managers and teams as well as project delivery staff.

¦ Support business unit leaders ensure staff have required training and competencies for the roles they undertake and equipment they use.

¦ Arrange and hold regular meetings (either face to face or via Microsoft Team) with business unit leaders and report on compliance progress.

¦ Produce weekly/monthly compliance performance report and issued the Managing Director.

¦ Ongoing continual development of your professional skills.


Professional Qualifications to be trained to
¦NEBOSH General Certificate and/or NEBOSH Construction certificate (minimum) - Diploma or above desired.

¦ 2-day Internal auditing certificates for ISO9001 (Quality)

¦ Leadership and Management experience and training.
