Parts Counter Assistant (Exeter)
Job description

Your chance to join the UK's number one excavator supplier
We are looking for a
Parts Sales Advisor
to join our Product Support Team.
The position will be based at our depot in Exeter
. Hours of work are 42.5 per week, working Monday - Friday*, although some additional hours may be required.

The main duties of the role will include:

Process cash and card payments for customer parts.
Create Purchase Orders.
Warehouse duties, stock control, picking parts and restocking
Provide efficient parts back up to the service department and customers.
Create new business and parts sales opportunities
Liaise with our Manufacturers or suppliers if appropriate to fulfil all customer requirements.
Establish price and availability and to produce the documentation for the despatch of all requirements to the correct destination.
Storing and accounting of warranty parts for the service department

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential_
Demonstrable experience in similar role
Good telephone manner.
Excellent time management skills be a forward thinker with the capability to plan ahead with strong organisational and planning skills in a fastpaced environment.
Ability to work under pressure, with the aptitude to think on your feet and resolve issues that may arise.
Preferred_
Experience of working in the automotive or construction parts sector
The ability to build rapport quickly with peers, customers.
