    Job Title: Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager

Since our establishment, we have grown to market leaders in our field, supporting UK major projects and taking a prominent role in delivering Government Frameworks and are currently seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to join our team.

    Role Overview:

    We're recruiting for a proactive and dedicated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) Manager to join our team. This key role will take responsibility for overseeing and implementing all health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and contractors. The HS&E Manager will be integral to maintaining and enhancing our standards, offering expert guidance and leadership across the company.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Provide expert HS&E advice and leadership, supporting company decision making and ensuring working practices are safe and compliant


    • Maintain expertise in H&S, sharing knowledge to develop the team's skills and capabilities


    • Build and maintain robust relationships internally and externally to improve decision-making and project supply chain safety


    • Ensure all H&S policies and procedures are developed, implemented, and audited effectively in line with best practice and regulatory requirements


    • Drive continuous improvement in H&S performance, aligning with the company's strategic objectives


    • Develop and monitor H&S performance, objectives, and targets, reporting on progress to senior management


    • Take responsibility for the company's compliance with H&S standards, including ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 45001


    • Promote a culture of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing across the company, championing our values and working towards a unified approach with our clients


    • Deliver training and support our on-site workforce with health, safety and environmental education


    • Prepare and maintain accurate records and documents relating to all health and safety matters, including risk assessments, incident reporting, PPE, and training records

    Skills and Experience:


    • Chartered membership of IOSH or Working towards Chartership NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent


    • Mental Health First Aid Trainer certification and experience delivering training


    • Working knowledge of the Health and Safety Regulations


    • Infrastructure/Civil engineering sector experience is preferred


    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused outlook


    • Willingness to travel as needed to support various company projects
