A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Source Inspector to join our existing team of engineers in our Loughborough facility.

As a Source Inspector, you will be working in conjunction with Inspection personnel, reporting directly to the Chief Inspector and Quality Management.

The successful applicant for the vacancy shall be a flexible, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail.

Competitive rates of pay based on skill level and experience.
Monthly productivity bonus.
Day shift (Monday to Thursday 07:45 and 16:30 with lunch between 12:30 and 13:00. Finishing at 11:45 on Friday).
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.

Source Inspector will be involved with:

Performing in-house inspection as required by the supplier/ customer Source Inspection requirements.
Recording results for inspections undertaken, highlighting any nonconformance and accepting or rejecting finished items as required.
Review supplier/ customer quality records to allow the quality release certificate to be signed enabling product to be released.
Raise and monitor nonconformance documentation as required during source inspection activity.
Carry out any other inspection duties as requested.

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings.
Use of conventional measuring equipment.

Preferred knowledge, skills & experience:

Experience of the Quality Management Standard AS9100.
Experience of the AS13001 Aerospace Industry standard.
Qualification to the above through the SAE DPRV Training course.
Experience of working to Aerospace OEM requirements.

Salary:
£12.00-£14.00 per hour
