TECNIQ are looking for a Purchasing Administrator


Key Purpose:


To assist with the operating of a purchasing activity that supports the needs of the business with supplied goods and services, at the required time, at the most effective terms and conditions.


The Role:


  • Ensure all goods and services are procured through the TECNIQ purchase order process.
  • Conduct supplier sourcing negotiations to achieve most favourable terms with regards to price, lead times, and payment terms.
  • Liaise with logistics regarding deliveries and collections.
  • Ensure suppliers provide order confirmations within the required timescales and that delivery information is in accordance with product requirements.
  • Maintain database for suppliers.
  • Processing data transfers.
  • Arranging shipments to suppliers and goods importation.
  • Purchasing and administrative support to ADP Classic Racing AND Finance.
  • Carry out other ad hoc tasks/requests made by supervisory/managerial staff.

Key Skills:


  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure, prioritising tasks as required.
  • Innovative approach to problem solving.
  • Experience of purchasing and supplier management would be desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
  • Ability to build relationships among colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Adaptable, confident, positive character.
  • Good IT skills, including Excel and Word.

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
