Sales and Customer Service Consultant

Looking for a start date of April 3rd 2023


We have an amazing opportunity, working for a leading specialist insurance company in
York city centre Superb working environment offering outstanding training and development plans.

It is a challenging but rewarding role.

There are a lot of technical products to learn, and you will navigate a number of IT systems, whilst simultaneously selling to and engaging with our customer to build an authentic connection.

We do not need you tohave any insurance experience, our incredible trainers will give you all the knowledge you need to succeed over a 4-week period.

After this you will move into an academy environment to further strengthen your skills.


WHAT'S ON OFFER

£21,000 per annum (raising to £22,000 after year 1 and £23,000 after year 2)

  • Full time, Permanent position
  • 25 days holiday with opportunity to buy 5 extra days holiday
  • 2 'Hiscox' Days Take the day off for birthdays, celebrations or family time, or to simply binge watch a new season of your favourite show
  • This role is 35 hours per week*, shift work within the hours of Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm (approximately once a month).
  • Hybrid working once fully trained and proficient in the role

  • Engaging with our customers over the phone, with a focus on finding the right products and securing the business through sales techniques and answering a variety of enquiries.
  • Building relationships and connections that inspire, engage and that put a smile on both yours and your customers' face.
