Description

Global Banking Firm and a leader in the FX Electronic Trading Technology space looking for an experienced Java Developer. Join as a senior Java developer working to enhance the firms low-latency FX algorithmic trading platform.

The involves working closelywith the FX quant and eTrading desks, you will be building and maintaining primarily Java services which include market connectivity, pricing, risk management and order execution.

Knowledge of low-latency programming techniques, appreciation of mechanicalsympathy and a drive to solve complex problems will be key to success in this position.

Excellent Java programming skills with focus on low latency programming
Experience of developing low latency trading systems, with a solid understanding of concurrency and Java and system performance tuning, along with messaging, persistence and distribution.
Good communications skills.
Excellent academic record with a numerate degree in computer science, maths, physics or engineering.
Innovative, selfmotivated, a team player, able to work independently and under pressure and meet deadlines.
