Description
Centrepoint is the UK's leading charity for homeless young people (16–25 years old) that aims to give each person we support a future and with a strategic focus on #EndYouthHomelessness.
PIE is a strategic priority for Centrepoint following PIE developments across the wider homeless sector and reflects the charity's commitment to psychological practice across the organization to improve our outcomes for our staff and the young people that use our services.
This is a part-time position (15 hours per week)covering Bournemouth Housing First services.Flexible working and hours are supported within the PIE Team.
Although service/region based, very occasional funded travel to Centrepoint Head Office (Aldgate East, London E1) may also be required to meet with the wider PIE team.
Remote working to connect across the organisation is also in place.You will be approximately two years post qualification, preferably with some experience of working with 'complex' needs and an interest in working with young people who have experienced homelessness to #changethestory.

The role will involve extensive staff consultation, training and reflective practice within Centrepoint Services, as well as supporting research and policy development across the organisation.
There will also be opportunities to deliver clinical psychology therapeutic interventions and undertake neuropsychological assessments to young peoplein conjunction with the Centrepoint's Therapeutic Services Team with your region.
Support the implementation of PIE Training, as well as other psychologically informed training sessions, for Centrepoint staff within your allocated services.
Deliver, in conjunction with the regional Centrepoint Therapeutic Services Team, neuropsychological assessments / psychological therapy interventions to homeless young people in your allocated services.
Ensure the highest levels of safeguarding and risk management for our young people.Support research and policy work within Centrepoint, in conjunction with the Head of PIE.
Promote diversity and equality throughout all practices.
Some experience of working with 'complex' needs, ideally homelessness or young people.
An interest in working in the charity sector with frontline staff and young people, who have experienced homelessness to #changethestory
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt and engage with a variety of young people, colleagues and external partners.
IT literate, including Microsoft Office & SPSS type programs.Using our values of Energy, Focus, Accountability, Humility and Integrity and being Entrepreneurial, you'll be able to display these in your everyday work and interactions to find new and improved ways of working and helping end youth homelessness.
You will be based regionally, and there is some flexibility in your base location (although travel to services within your region / occasional travel to London Head Office will be required).
