About the role


Are you passionate about technical training, customer support, and ensuring the highest level of service quality? We're seeking a skilled Academy Training & Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Draeger.

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in delivering exceptional training and support to both internal staff and external customers.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct accredited technical training sessions for internal and external customers on assigned devices, care areas, and product lines.
  • Provide specialised service support for assigned devices, care areas, and product lines to both internal and external customers.
  • Serve as a Level 2 Specialist for the EN region, offering expert advice, training, and escalation support.
  • Exceed customer expectations by delivering responsive, highquality service, sales, and training related to Draeger products.
  • Promote Draeger training, products, and services.
  • Represent specialised support for assigned devices and care areas.
  • Prepare and conduct technical training courses, including documentation, at required locations and customer sites.
  • Support technical corrective actions for devices within your assigned area.
  • Identify specialist tools needed by service engineers or customers.
  • Provide feedback on quality issues related to specific devices to the Quality Department.
  • Perform sophisticated field support, preferably while coaching others.
  • Assist sales teams with offers, quotations, and tenders.
  • Take responsibility for problemsolving within your competency or escalate as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Service Director or Business Development to assess service prices based on capacity, margin, and competition.
  • Maintain relevant communication and documentation within the quality system and process landscape.
  • Stay updated on new market developments within the related industry.
  • Participate in incident reporting management.
  • Conduct internal training sessions on product updates and existing devices.
  • Complete offsite assessments as necessary to approve facilities.
The tasks and responsibilities above are typical of the duties the postholder will be expected to perform.

Size of team/environment

  • The service academy is made up of a team of 22 people based at 3 UK Draeger sites delivering technical training and technical support to both internal and external customers from both the Safety and Medical divisions of Draeger. The team being made up of technical training specialists each with different specialities in key areas of our business. Along with a team of coordinators and administrators to ensure the smoothrunning of the training courses.

Your Qualifications Role Requirements**Education/Qualifications

  • A recognised teacher training program qualification such as City & Guilds course PTLLS & 6304 CTLLS Post Graduate Certificate in Education or equivalent or be willing to attend a relevant course.
  • To hold or be able to hold offshore certificates.
Related Experience

  • Ideally knowledge of Draeger and other marketplace products
  • Significant related experience in appropriate industry sector
  • High level technical & practical knowledge
