About the role

  • FGDS Planning
  • Creation and maintenance of BOM structures within SAP production orders for FGDS bespoke builds.
  • Ordering of "One time Offer" materials to support the FGDS portfolio.
  • Management of partial and full release of production/works orders in line with material staging dates.
  • Creation and release of stock transport orders between the LDC and FGDS manufacturing area.
  • Support production/works order closure when technical issues arise within the SAP system.

Master Data Creation & Maintenance-

  • Creation and maintenance of SAP views (MRP1, MRP2, MRP3, MRP4, Forecasting, Work Scheduling, GPD / Storage 1 & GPD Storage 2).
  • Management of deletion workflows to ensure master data on obsolete items is up to date.
  • Periodic review of safety stock parameters, abnormal demand quantities, and lot size parameters.
  • Maintenance of total replenishment lead times, supply chain type, and planning profile on materials.

Local Distribution Centre-

  • Primary responsibility for the replenishment of gas detection components which have a local stocking policy.
  • Autonomy to maintain and adjust forecast data and master data.
  • Placement of replenishment orders on internal and external suppliers using Draeger procurement models.

Business Support-

  • Support peer group with holiday coverage or where business conditions change the balance of work.
  • Provide general support to production helping to resolve booking issues and other adhoc requests.
  • Representation of the planning department as project support for new product introductions, changes to existing product or changes to the manufacturing processes.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of SAP systems, production planning, and inventory management. It also requires excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders

  • Inbound Logistics
  • Customer OTIF
  • Cycle Turns
  • Blocked Stock
  • Slow Moving Stock
  • 6S
The tasks and responsibilities above are typical of the duties the postholder will be expected to perform.

Your Qualifications

  • A level (or equivalent ) business qualification is desirable or proven work expereince in a similar role.
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Knowledge and experience working with Supply Chain KPI's
  • IT skills i.e. MS Office
  • Customer orientated
  • Ability to organise and prioritise
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • SAP working knowledge desirable
  • Capacity for analytical thinking
  • Comfortable providing feedback to suppliers.
  • Commited to updating internal stakeholders with the latest part availability status.
