About The Role

Operating as a support to the Finance Manager and Treasury and Risk Accountant to provide reconciliation and control of key financial data including bank reconciliations, HMRC returns, ethanol invoicing and credit control alongside supplementary adhoc financial tasks. Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of daily cash flow forecasts including reconciliation to GBP/EUR bank accounts.
• Preparation of ethanol sales invoicing and management of the credit control function to ensure all invoices paid on a timely basis.
• Back office checks of trading activity to make sure contract information is captured in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Provision of support to key Finance Team members delivering varied adhoc finance tasks as and when required including (but not limited to) assisting with funding requests, analysis of overheads and liquidity.

• Operate effectively with other Finance team members.

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 Contract: Permanent Working hours : 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday. Based at the Vivergo Fuels Site at the Saltend Chemicals Park in Hull. The role will suit a person who is looking to gain diverse knowledge across many finance functions, gathering and utilising a range of skills, therefore this role is ideal for someone who is thinking of becoming qualified or looking for a role that will give a breadth of experience before perhaps selecting their own discipline. The Finance Analyst role has plenty of room for self and guided development. Knowledge - skills and experience required

• Competent analyst with experience operating in a busy finance function.
• Good MS office skills covering Excel, Powerpoint & Word.
• Experience in the use of computerised accountancy package (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics AX)
• Able to meet demanding deadlines and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
