We are looking for an Apprentice to join our 2-year scheme starting as soon as possible, to be based in our central London office.

The selection process will include a presentation, a written test and interview in the office.


AGCS UK runs an entry-level programme in conjunction with the L4 Insurance Professional apprenticeship, led by the Davies Group, and this contributes towards your CII qualification.

Your role will have clear responsibility and will see you working alongside a team of experts. You'll have networking opportunities across the Allianz group and the London insurance market.


Your Team

You will be joining the Financial Lines Claims department in London, reporting directly to a senior member of the team.

You will learn how to deliver effective and efficient Claims handling support alongside a team of 9 people ranging from top experts in the field to junior claims handlers developing their skills.


The Impact You Will Have

Your responsibilities will include working closely with all teams at AGCS both in the UK and abroad, as well as creating and maintaining professional relationships with brokers and clients.

You will ensure accurate and comprehensive claims administration and learn to support negotiations in the settlement process.


Some of your specific responsibilities could include

  • Input and maintain accurate claims records (eg. reserves, payments) for designated accounts
  • Process standard indemnity and expense payments
  • Prepare case for settlement of standard claims through payment or denial
  • Produce management information reports (eg. monthly major claims movements)
  • Prepare referral documentation and materials
  • Report loss information internally and externally
  • Actively review late/nonpayment of premium and support credit control process with Underwriting /Accounts
