Job Purpose


The warehouse operator is a member of the Supply chain team on site who are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of all warehouse materials, goods and products to for the business operations and customer demand.

The role will be on the Monday to Friday shift pattern, 10am-6pm


Principal Accountabilities

  • Unloading and loading of all vehicles to site.
  • Check for damaged or missing items
  • Store goods appropriately
  • Build and pick orders for dispatch
  • Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a fork lift truck
  • Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production schedule
  • Data entry/TAGS onto SAP system
  • Keep accurate stock records
  • Carry out stock counts as and when required
  • Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
  • Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
  • Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
  • Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value

Qualifications/Requirements

Experience

  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility on working hours to meet business demands
  • Proven experience within warehouse environment
  • Familiarity with warehouse practises and methods


  • Strong IT skills

  • Microsoft, SAP

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£28,314.00 per year
