Working Hours: 08:00 AM - 16:00 PM, Monday - Friday.

JOB PURPOSE


The basic function for this role is preparing Flexographic printing plates, working from a planning download list ensuring all plates are present and correct prior to production on Flexographic print presses whilst maintaining an effective and efficient team.


JOB DIMENSIONS & SCOPE

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain highest level of cleanliness and 6's standards in prepress area (daily checklist);
  • Plates and other consumables are always available.
  • All H&S aspects are adhered too.
  • All manning is controlled with business requirements in mind.
  • Helping with proof problems on and off press as and when required.
  • Ability to cover any role within the area as and when required.
  • Maintain accurate sleeve and pad roller catalogue, report any items no longer fit for purpose and inform any deviation within the catalogue.
  • Ordering plates through SAP.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Specific Skills and Abilities

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to operate manufacturing equipment;
  • A keen eye for detail;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work;
  • Basic computer skills required Excel and SAP.
