Description

We are looking for a full time Intervention Worker to join our Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme Service - the Your Choice Project (voluntary perpetrator programme).

The Intervention Worker will be responsible for delivering sessions (group and one to one as may be required) with people who use intimate partner abuse or ex intimate partner abuse in their relationships and undertake such sessions in a way that prioritises the safety of those at risk from domestic violence and abuse.

We are looking for someone who has an understanding of domestic violence and abuse and its effects on survivors, an understanding of why some people use abusive behaviours in relationships and the range of models used in addressing this behaviour, experience of providing one-to-one counselling or group work and experience and understanding of safeguarding procedures in relation to children and vulnerable adults.

Role Details
Working hours: 37 hours per week

Working terms:
Fixed term contract until 30/09/2025 with possible extension funding dependant

Salary:
£25,894 per year
