    Description

    Are you a motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working within a fast paced production environment? We are seeking to recruit a highly self-motivated, conscientious, and committed individual who has a do it now & can-do attitude to join our growing team as an Injection Technician.

    Reporting to the Production Manager and supporting the process lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all existing production and new product introductions are completed on time and within budget. This role will ensure production related processes are carried out in an efficient manner and identify and implement new process improvements.

    Main duties are setting up injection machines, working with robots, and trimming machines, insert and barrel changes, basic mould and machine maintenance, training operators in start-up and shutdown procedures and running machines, development of processes and providing technical assistance to achieve root cause analysis and formulation of corrective action plans.

    We are looking for a candidates who possess a high degree of literacy, numeracy and computer skills alongside excellent oral and written communication ability. Capability to work to your own initiative is also essential. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would beneficial and a HND or Degree qualification in a technical or engineering discipline would be viewed as advantageous.
