The Role
I am working with a specialised SEN school in Harlow, Essex. This school has some fantastic facilities that really help to support children with SEN academically, physically, emotionally and socially.

They have a broad age range from age 3 to 19 so whether you like working with the younger ones or older ones, this could be for you.

I am seeking someone with some experience in PMLD/SLD, to join their ambitious community and support the pupils' academic journeys.

All pupils receive a safe, stimulating and challenging curriculum which is focused on the needs and potential of each individual pupil, where all achievements are celebrated.

They aim to provide a holistic curriculum incorporating an understanding of and focus on mental health and wellbeing, driven by pupils' individual needs, promoting tolerance and respect for others, that promotes a joy of learning and independence.

The Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant

The ideal SEND Teaching Assistant is passionate about supporting vulnerable students with complex needs and helping them reach their full potential.
Is emotionally resilient and can adapt to challenging environments and situations.
Experience isn't necessary, but passion, engagement and nurture are essential.
