About You:


You have extensive experience managing and controlling the day to day running of a Finance Department, so are comfortable overseeing monthly management, budget & year-end accounts processes.


You have provided support to your Group Finance Director, Group Finance Managers, management, and employees around all aspects of finance.


Your recognised accountancy qualification and knowledge working with SAGE2000 or similar, within a commercial business, gives you the ability to pick up - and deliver against - processes and systems quickly.


You bring the knowledge of working within a business or business unit of c100 employees, ensuring accurate financial modelling to ensure forecasts are deliverable.


You pride yourself on your people management, analytical and prioritisation skills and can evidence your ability to manage company cashflow.


Overseeing the key areas of accounts payable & receivable, banking, customer information and management reporting are what makes you a successful finance professional, with the confidence to present your thoughts to c-level executives.


You are looking for flexibility in your working hours, to ensure that you can maintain your career trajectory but balanced against other priorities in your life.

For this reason, we are open to discuss a few options with you such as a compressed week with full-time hours worked over four days, or a pro-rata salary to allow for a part-time 3-day week or a working day aligned to school hours.

Our selection process comprises a few stages:

Shortlisting:

we might share a few more questions with you if we feel we need to dig a little deeper into your experience or arrange a quick call with one of our TA Leads to discuss.


Initial Interview:
you will have a chance to meet with our Finance Director, Ben and our Financial Controller, Greig. They will dive deeper into your experience and will want to hear more about your transferable skills.

Final interview:
at this stage, you will get to meet the Business Director for Mirus IT, Dan. He is the senior leader for the group business that this role will support.
