As the Marketing and Communications Officer at RJ4All, you will develop and oversee the marketing activities of the organization.You will be responsible for delivering the Communication & Campaign Strategy and Marketing Strategy, working closely with the Senior Communication Officer and reporting to the UK Operations Director.
You will also line-manage Communications & Marketing Interns and support Community Centre-based activities as needed.This role is part-time, 3 days a week, until January 2025, with pay ranging from £95-£100 per day depending on experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesCommunications:
- Develop and implement the Communication & Campaign Strategy
- Collaborate with Senior Communications & Campaign Officer and social media intern to enhance RJ4All's social media presence
- Contribute to creating engaging content and scheduling posts
- Provide support for community project communications, including promotion and outreach
Marketing:
- Assist in developing marketing strategies and campaigns
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth
- Promote RJ4All's services and products through various marketing channels
- Support development of marketing materials and track campaign performance using KPIs and analytics tools
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor's Degree in strategic communication, marketing, journalism, related discipline
- Marketing experience, ideally 12 years experience in marketing or advertising
- Demonstrated experience with all types of social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
- Experience working in a highvolume, fastpaced environment
- Experience with website design (WordPress) and various communications tools (e.g. Canva, Wix, social media schedulers)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, MS Teams, Sharepoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and communicate proactively
Desired:
- Master's degree in strategic communication, marketing, journalism, related discipline
- 12 years experience in communications in a work environment (such as writing and editing content, managing social media accounts and creating engaging posts, coordinating media outlets, and analysing communications efforts and developing, executing, and adjusting communication strategies and campaigns)
- 12 years of experience in nonprofit organisation or CIC
