CMM Operator

We now have a fantastic career opportunity for a permanent CMM Operator who has experience within a engineering/Quality control environment.

We are looking for:

The post holder will be responsible for in process inspection of magnetic assemblies both dimensional and Visually

Ensure all parts are inspected to drawing specifications
Ensure all documentation received relates to the correct job order, part number and revision before work commences
Record all inspection data as directed by the QC manager
Flag up any nonconformances promptly to your supervisor and complete the correct paperwork assist in corrective actions as needed
Be comfortable inspecting parts under microscopes for defects
Take photos and assist in creating race packs as needed
Keep your area in a tidy organized condition (5s)
Ensure the Quality requirements, policies and procedures are complied with at all times
Ensure the H&S legal requirements, policies and procedures are complied with at all times

Working Hours:

Mon Thurs 6.002:30 Fri 6 11:30
Afternoons 14:15 00:15 Mon,Tue,Wed and 14:1523:45 Thursday (As needed)

About You:

Previous experience within a similar role
Experience working within engineering/Quality control environment
Must have experience operating a CMM machine
Ability to use micrometres height gauges etc. (general inspection techniques)
Ability to work as part of a team
Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills
The ability to understand engineering drawings
Excellent attention to detail
Knowledge of basic CMM programming
