37hrs per week permanent

Year 1 - £10.42 per hour

Year 2 - £10.90 per hour

Year - hourly rate for the role
Persona are offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Support Worker to join our Learning Disability Day Service.

The prime aim of the Learning Disability Day Service is to support the people who use our service to maintain and develop their independence, to ensure their engagement in community activities and to meet their physical and emotional needs.

About you:

You will be a flexible person with a 'can-do' attitude, who also shares our values.

You will have an ability to develop positive relationships with people and be passionate in supporting people to reach their full potential.

You don't need any previous qualifications or social care experience, but you will be someone who:

- has a passion for learning
- enjoys a challenge
- is willing to work as part of a team
- is committed, motivated and hardworking

In return for this Persona will enable you to gain knowledge and skills in:

  • communication and customer service

- team working
- supporting you to achieve a Level 2 Health and Social Care Qualification

About the role:


As an Apprentice Support Worker you will be responsible for supporting adults with a learning disability either on a 1:1 basis or in groups, and will work closely with members of your team to ensure that appropriate support is provided to all Day Service attendees and that the associated paperwork is completed accurately.
