Accounts Administrator - Rate of pay dependant on experience

37 1⁄2 hours per week

  • Friday
  • 8.30am 17.00pm

Job Function/Purpose:


  • Finance Office General Administrative duties

Principal Responsibilities:


  • Maintain Accounts Payable Inbox
  • Register Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Purchase statement reconciliation
  • Monthly filing of Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Open new Supplier Accounts (cover for Purchase Ledger Clerk)
  • Post cash received GBP/EUR/USD
  • Open new Sales Ledger accounts (Cover for Sales ledger)
  • Maintenance of Insurance renewals (Cover for Sales ledger)
  • Deal with Credit limits and accounts on stop for Sales Ledger (Cover for Sales Ledger)
  • Sending end of month Statements to customers
  • Open post and distribute
  • Answer incoming calls and door
  • Provide cover for the payroll department in the absence of the payroll co-ordinator (Training to be provided
- experience not essential)


  • Any other duties as required, commensurate with job position

Key Measures:


  • Registering Purchase Ledger invoices efficiently and effectively
  • Sending Sales Invoices to customers.
  • Accurate Scanning of documentation

Job Types:

Salary:
£7.49-£11.50 per hour
