Job description:
Hardness & Marking Operator within our inspection Department.

Shop floor based environment.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Overtime available dependant on business needs.


Hourly rate:

NLW

Job function:
To perform hardness & marking Operations within the inspection department.


Principal Responsibilities:


  • To operate the hardness and marking machines
  • Create reports for the hardness operations
  • To book the work through to the next operation
  • To work to customer drawings and specifications
  • Keep a clean and manageable working area
  • Fulfil training programs deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development
  • To take a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks in relation to your own job role and to control the risks or report them to management as appropriate
  • Any other duties as required, commensurate with job position

Key measures:


  • Hardness test and reports
  • Marking orders

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£5.28-£10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
