Starting salary £54,364 per annum, with future progression opportunities to £57,833 plus Essential Car User Allowance of £5,783 per annum

About the role
Having a strong commitment to Health and Safety has never been more important, which is why Broadland are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable and committed Head of Health and Safety to join our team.
This is a crucial role in setting and delivering Broadland's Health and Safety strategy - ensuring compliance within Health and Safety legislation and regulations in all areas of the business.
The main duties of the role are:
To ensure that health and safety legislative requirements are met throughout the Association, ensuring a high-quality safe working environment for staff, visitors, tenants and contractors.
Promoting a positive Health and Safety culture for staff, visitors and tenants. Providing advice, guidance, reporting and trainingTo ensure compliance with building safety legislation.

About You
IOSH Professional Qualification
Asbestos Awareness Training
Sufficient Health and Safety Management experience
Experience of managing Health and Safety across multiple locations
This role can be challenging at times, so we are looking for someone who is determined and enthusiastic with excellent people skills.
We expect a high level of integrity and a drive to get things done, dealing calmly but thoroughly with the variety of matters that inevitably arise on a day-to-day basis.
