    Join a dynamic team as a Civil Engineer at a well-established and rapidly growing specialist engineering firm based in Redditch.

    This role is pivotal in the production of technical engineering solutions for our clients, contributing to diverse projects ranging from quicker, next-day turnaround assignments to longer multi-year endeavours.


    Responsibilities:

    As a Civil Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

    • Designing and developing engineering solutions based on client's requirements, both on-site and in the Engineering Office.
    • Developing and completing comprehensive solutions, including technical drawings, calculations, risk assessments, and method statements.
    • Producing design calculations and rigging studies to relevant standards.
    • Producing RAMs documentation for approval prior to issue to clients.
    • Keeping administration up to date, including the project map, project safety file, and project list.
    • Ensuring safety is considered throughout designs and remains the highest priority.

    Candidate Profile:
    We are looking for an individual with the following attributes:


    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels; site operatives, managers, directors, and clients.
    • Personal interest in engineering and comfortable in a fast-paced project environment.
    • Ability to provide clear direction when discussing ideas and concepts with site teams and clients.
    • Degree qualified in Naval architecture, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
    • AutoCAD 2D operation to a basic standard.
    • FEM/other modelling software (desirable).
    • Experience in heavy lifting or abnormal load operations.

    Benefits Offered:

    • Competitive Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum + benefits
