About This Job


This contract role has been created to provide end-to-end management, with HEOR (Health, Economics and Outcome Research), of the HTA (Health Technology Assessment) submissions for a late stage asset, ensuring timely alignment on strategy with affiliate andglobal teams.

The role will manage cross-functional input into the submission strategy by working in conjunction with the HEOR, medical and brand teams at an affiliate level and with market access and pricing at a global level, and with close alignment with the UK Archetypelead


Key Activities for this role:
Work with HEOR & Global Market Access Medicines lead to ensure robust and timely submissions to HTA bodies in the UK

Agree a market access and pricing strategy for the medicine with the Affiliate Market Access and Brand Teams


Identify and communicate payer customer needs effectively to local HEOR and/or Medical Affairs to inform evidence-generation prioritisation and content in order to develop Value Dossiers for the effective communication of the value of products, and submitcritical Market Access requirements to the Affiliate Head of Market Access/Govt.

Affairs

Input into strategic price-setting at a global level, supporting the local price negotiation process and identifying innovative solutions for market access, including innovative pricing / contracting arrangements with national payers

Essential Knowledge & Experience

Experience in a Market Access role in the Pharma sector with strong patient/customer focus, in multi-disciplinary, matrix and global context

Experience in delivering HTA submissions, in particular NICE and SMC

Strong experience devising and implementing market access strategies and achieving exceptional results for product

Proven track record in developing and delivering compelling value propositions and access strategies

Evidenced success in driving price execution to deliver optimal commercial return

Prior experience of developing KPIs and dashboards, to support sustainable growth and performance

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

Post-graduate qualification such as MBA and/or MSc or equivalent is highly desirable

Experience of relevant Therapeutic Area and good scientific awareness relative to drug development

Working in an international context

Educations/Qualifications

Graduate or equivalent professional qualification in Life Sciences and/or proven expertise
