Tradewind are recruiting for a flexible and enthusiastic teacher to cover PPA across year groups in our excellent client school.

The school are looking for a teacher who is
flexible across year groups, can
support progress and develop
excellent working relationships with class teachers and other staff members across the school.

This role will involve covering
PPA across the week for teachers in KS1 and KS2. This role will be paid in line with teacher pay scales (M1 to M6) and is due to start in January and run until the end of the year.


This would be an amazing opportunity for an experienced teacher to teach with lower demands, or for an ECT to gain experience in different year groups.

Roles and Responsibilities - PPA Teacher

  • Planning, teaching, and assessing learning within different year groups
  • Developing excellent relationships with class teachers
  • Reporting feedback to class teachers, including academic and behaviour
  • Create inspiring and engaging lessons for pupils
  • Be supportive of the values and ethos of the school
  • Be hard working and strive to provide the best for the pupils at the school

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent)
  • Hold a valid DBS on the Update Service (or be happy to process a new one)
  • Provide two professional references that must cover recent teaching experience
  • Provide a full CV History, with any gaps in employment explained
  • Have Overseas Police Checks (if lived out of the UK for more than 6 months in the last 5 years)
