Salary:
£25,000 - £30,000

Leeds City Centre - Hybrid options 2 days from home
Hours:
pm Monday to Friday

Our client is a Legal firm based in Leeds City Centre and they are looking for a Compliance and Onboarding Analyst to join their team.
The role will involve onboarding new clients, identifying conflicts of interest, carrying out due diligence, AML checks, researching the corporate structures of new businesses, assessing politically exposed people, sanctions and adverse media, and analysingsources of wealth.
We are looking for someone with a legal or financial services background with a strong knowledge of AML, sanctions and ideally SRA standards and regulations.
Role and responsibilities:
- Onboard new clients and carrying out the appropriate checks and compliance.
- Identifying and resolving conflicts of interest
- Carrying out AML checks
- Researching corporate structures and identification of owners
- Carrying out PEP and Sanction checks
- Assessing source of wealth
- Providing MI reporting for managers
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a regulated environment
- A background in either Law, professional services or financial services
- Strong knowledge of AML, Sanctions, SRA standards
- Analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to speak to key stakeholders within the business
- Good initiative and able to work independently
