Howarth Morris are excited to be assisting a PE-backed ecommerce business based in the Warrington area.

Due to expansion and rapid growth, they are looking for a Financial Controller to fulfil a new position in the business and report directly in to animpressive and personable Group FD.

Our successful client is looking for a Financial Controller who can head up our financial reporting and day to day running of the Finance Department.

Someone who can aid with the vision and growth plans, and someone who can contribute to the success of theorganisation and grow as the business continues to rapidly grow.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing all finance and accounting operations and the day to day running of the Finance Department
  • Prepare and publish timely weekly and monthly financial information and KPIs
  • Develop and manage a daily P&L to give forward visibility of performance.
  • Improving current financial processes and systems and identifying areas for improvement
  • Oversee the Finance Data Reporting Suite and suggesting process improvements over time
  • Collaborate with all teams across the business, Business Partnering and building key stake holder relationships
  • Coordinate and preparing budgets and regular forecasts
  • Maintaining quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Participate in key projects related to due diligence, reporting and presentation creation
  • Manage and comply our financial reporting with GAAP
  • Manage the daytoday relationship with the bank, payment providers and other relevant parties
  • Create weekly, monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts
  • Develop budgets and forecast models to be able to do sensitivity analysis and also to generate scenarios

The Right Person

  • A fully qualified accountant CIMA/ACCA/ ACA post 5 years+
  • Proven track record as a successful FC/FM
  • FMCG or Ecommerce experience are advantageous
