We are currently working with a number of Alternative Prevision Schools in Ipswich that are looking for long term Learning Support Assistants (LSA).

The Ipswich Schools need Learning Support Assistants (LSA) for students ranging from Key Stage 1-Key Stage4.

The successful Learning Support Assistant (LSA) must be willing to support students with diagnosed and undiagnosed special educational needs (SEN).


Learning Support Assistant (LSA) job role::


  • Supporting the pupils with undiagnosed needs.
  • Supporting pupils with SEMH, ADHD and Autism.
  • Supporting pupils with EHCPs.
  • Working with the class teacher to ensure pupil's learning and emotional needs are met.
  • Supporting teaching and learning certificates is desirable but not essential.

Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Requirements:


  • Experience in working with and supporting young people in a primary school is desirable.
  • Be able to communicate with school staff, parents, and carers.
  • Certificates in supporting teaching and learning would be an advantage.
  • Available 5 days a week 08:30 16:00
  • Commutable to Ipswich, Suffolk.
